From There’s a Boy in the Girls’ Bathroom by Louis Sachar
“Bradley Chalkers sat at his desk in the back of the room– last seat, last row. No one sat at the desk next to him or at the one in from of him. He was an island.”
My first impression is that this is going to be about something sad. A kid isolated from the rest of the class is something I see as sad. Since Bradley is the first character introduced, it is safe to say that he is going to be the protagonist in this story. Based off the cover, I picture a middle school aged boy in a classroom with not many students.
HAHA! This sounds like such a fun book just from reading the title and looking at the cover. However, the quote did change my perception on what the book might be about. Sounds like a good pick! Enjoy!

I definitely haven’t heard of this book but I love this meme! How fun to try and analyze a book off of the first page and then see how close you were or what your impressions are! How did you decide on this meme and is it the first week you tried it?

Yes this is the first week and I just think opening lines are so important to the book so I picked it!
